🥜 Most large scale peanut crops are contaminated with #aflatoxin, a carcinogenic agent produce by a mold. For example, alflatoxin has been defected in 53% of peanut butter samples. ⠀

🥜 Hence I choose to use only organic wild jungle peanuts from the Amazon Shuar tribe @foodsalive. Unlike domestic peanuts, organic wild jungle peanuts are free of aflatoxin and are a sustainable rain forest product. They have an earthy, milky and more complex taste compared to standard sweet buttery taste of high-oleic peanuts, and covered in beautiful tiger stripe skin.⠀
